Should a 13 year old be out at midnight?

@tozirereers1974 They won’t be adults complaining about this, they’ll be adults thanking you for this. And from another mom, THANK YOU FOR THIS. Continue “ruining her life”

Should a 13 year old be out at midnight?

@historyincognito If my 16 year old was out at midnight and I was unaware, I would be waiting in her friends driveway upon her return. If she was 13? The mother would be getting a phone call and I’d be picking her up immediately. Parents need to speak to parents. I don’t know when this stopped...

What do you expect and experience with your teens eating habits?

@scottwilson I know I’m sorry for you too but honestly it feels good to know I’m not alone 🥴😂. This almost grown child won’t even microwave her plate of leftover dinner after practice. She will just not eat or eat candy stored in her room if it’s not done for her.

What do you expect and experience with your teens eating habits?

@scottwilson My 16 year old daughter and her eating habits INFURIATE me. You are not alone. The laziness is out of control. She’s an athlete and still eats like shit unless I hand off her plate basically. She will stare at the fridge then complain there’s no food (a fridge literally full of...

VENT I was just a bitch to my 16 year old daughter.

@jfp75 Also just for giggles- the cheesesteak would have sent me. FOOD IS EXPENSIVE TAKE IT TO THE FRIDGE OKAY.

VENT I was just a bitch to my 16 year old daughter.

@jfp75 Hahaha it’s always “that’s just teenagers”. Ok well maybe that’s what makes you feel better and excuse the behavior, but not me. If you want ur kid to be an ungrateful asshole go for it but I don’t. Im raising an almost adult to behave LIKE AN ADULT, im not raising a child to behave like...

VENT I was just a bitch to my 16 year old daughter.

@jfp75 Omg this is my life. Like literally my daughter exactly - down to just giving shifts away and owes money. And I hate that we can’t seem to just bitch about it. I tried once on here and got eaten alive, even though I thought this was a forum to support parents. We all go through this kind...

    17 year olds & sex

@yakob123 So so hard. It doesn’t mean you failed, it means you learned a way that won’t be successful. Try again. Say you know you didn’t do a good job explaining, and you want to try again. Tell her how you feel as if you were telling a friend of yours. Often times teens need to humanize us...

    17 year olds & sex

@yakob123 It’s so important for us as parents to set boundaries and be mature and protective and teach them about life.. but a big part of that can sometimes be letting them know we actually are just winging this shit and we often don’t know what the hell we are doing ☺️

    17 year olds & sex

@yakob123 I’m so glad you posted this because the uncomfortable feeling is real!! I’m so curious how people deal with this! And it’s so uncomfortable having the thought as a mom like “I’d rather it under my roof than a strangers house or around his parents, etc” but then at the same time I’m...
