    Feelings you’d have twins..?

@twinmum When I got pregnant with my first child, I could feel her. I told my husband at 6-7 weeks pregnant, it’s a girl! I can feel this baby, and i know she’s a girl. It was interesting because we had zero preference on gender. Sure enough, it was a girl. Then the next time I got pregnant, it...

What’s the dumbest thing anyone ever said to you as a twin parent?

@nathann Someone asked me the other day, “are they twins?” We were in our car seat “pusher” as I call it. No mistaking they are the same age. I said nah, I found one in the parking lot. Lol.

What’s the dumbest thing anyone ever said to you as a twin parent?

@nathann We tried a new ped today (did not like). She asked, “they’re not identical, right? They don’t look the same.” Like shouldn’t you, as the doctor, know that just bc they have some differences does not mean they aren’t identical. They have different head shapes. Anyway, not dumb but the...

    My kid called me fat

@solidengr My two year old saw me in my sports bra and leggings the other day. I had twins 10 months ago and still have a Belly. Maybe it’s fat, maybe it’s diastasis recti. Idk. I definitely could look about 3-4 months pregnant. She came over to me, pointed to my tummy, and said “baby in there?”...

Tell me I’m not “giving up” or a failure. Feeding 4 day old twins

@igbokwe I’m praying I can BF again, but my situation is purely financial. Things have been so tough for my husband’s business this year, and we have been struggling just to get by. I feel like I can’t even afford to consider using formula unless it’s an absolute must. It sucks. I’m putting so...

    Babies Won’t Eat

@ramin It will! Mine felt so behind, so I know that feeling. I couldn’t understand why I saw so many posts in twin groups saying how their babies needed no NICU or just a few days, and mine were just not seeming to progress. Hang in there! My friend is a NICU nurse and told me not to expect much...

    Babies Won’t Eat

@ramin I don’t really have any advice, but I do have empathy for you. I had my twins in Sept via scheduled C-section at 35+1. I thought surely since we had made it so far for mono/di twins, we would do a week, maybe 2 MAX in the NICU. Unfortunately, that was not how it turned out for us. We...

Toddler screams and cries at daycare for an hour before passing out from exhaustion

@hannahbaker101 Thanks! We are new at this. I think it’s usually more like did you have fun at school today? Yes. So then you’re excited to go back in a few days, right?! No. I don’t want to go back. lol. Then of course the morning of its like “I don’t want to go. I’m sad.” And I’m like you’re...

Toddler screams and cries at daycare for an hour before passing out from exhaustion

@likim I can’t help, but your situation sounds similar to mine. Oldest is cared for by grandparents most of the time (almost 2.5 now). Twins are cared for by a nanny in our home. I also work part time, thankfully. My in-laws wanted to help with the twins as well/get to know them like they did...
