    @mekinney01 That is an option, though my 5 yo weighs less than my 3 yo (by a pound or two). And I don't really like the high back harness booster my 5 yo is in, their is very little cushioning. I'm actually thinking now of getting them both new 3-in-1s.

    @theresac Yeah, I'm looking at the high-back booster. But the harnessed ones are few and I'm not liking them. My 5 yo is in one and seems very uncomfortable.

    @farmhouse1 5 yo is in a Cosco high back with harness. There just isn't much padding in the cover.

    @farmhouse1 Oh yeah, I initially read looking at a high-back booster. But I'm going to look more into the convertible ones. I didn't know/see the 3-in-1s, high back harness, high back booster, regular booster. I really just didn't want to buy a high back harness that I'd only use for 2 ish years.

    As parents, how would you feel about not having a 3 yo in a harness? My 3'5'' tall 3 yo daughter will reach 40 lbs soon (she was 38.9 lbs a month ago) and her current car seat is only rated to 40 lbs.
