@jimjamjimjam I agree. I think it comes down to the fact they didn't put in the "pain and suffering" of making the formula. Atleast not beyond paying for it anyway. Vs sterilizing parts, cleaning bottles, labeling, freezing flat and so on.
@jimjamjimjam Some people really struggle to pump and stash away extra. Some people can't get a pump and flange that works or their boobs just won't give more. Those especially are the ones that complain of waste.
@mss91z28 In my state they tend to stick around for 3 to 6 months if they deem it worth an investigation after their initial assessment.
If you suggested it was the nanny they will probably check her out but it'll probably be even harder for them to decide if she's abusive/neglectful...
@sam4242 If it's worked for you in the past it's worth trying again. I just know I myself had way more luck with hand expressing costrum than pumping. It wasn't until I started getting transitional milk that I could pump effectively.
@sam4242 Have you tried hand expressing? Maybe you may be able to get things moving that way. And all the skin to skin time you can. It's the skin to skin at the beginning that helps start the milk.
