    Anyone else want to go back to 1992 when every single grade didn’t have a “graduation” ceremony?

    @monkeym24 It must vary by area, we haven't had that many that we've had to go to yet. And we haven't had to buy any special attire. For spirit weeks if we don't have something that works we just don't do that day. We are not asked to buy cap and gown for graduation either.

    @monkeym24 Okay, but I don't think the solution is to just not celebrate milestones. Sometimes things will be inconvenient for you, and that's life.

    @porven I somewhat relate. I am not crazy about my job (I could stop working now and not miss it) but I do enjoy getting to use my brain for more complicated problems than house cleaning or parenting on a regular basis. I do find that I get far more enjoyment out of having a clean, well...

    Tipping Daycare Teachers

    @johnsubira I'm just doing $10 amazon gift cards for each of their main teachers and the kids will make them a card which I'll write a note in. Not gonna feel bad, it's not my job to pay their salary. I already spend a fortune on tuition. I literally cannot afford to do more than that. And still...

    @kronos51 Anything I enjoy that gets turned into an income loses a lot of the joy.
