    @lifeinone I relate to this so hard. I pump 3x a day and work full time (all I have "spoons" for), but my son who eats ~30 oz/day is definitely getting mostly formula at this point!

    How old were your children when they began to use words in different languages for the same thing or concept?

    @kairete I'm convinced my son's very first words were agua/"wawa" (water) but would have a hard time proving it in court. But anyway, I'd say right away based on that experience!

    Wife feeling excluded

    @x902xxipher As the English only partner in our house, I have to say that my husband speaking his language really helped my language acquisition! She'll understand more over time. I like another commenter's idea to translate in real time so she doesn't feel excluded now though.

    24 months - when to intervene?

    @andylondon My son is just over 2 years, also 2 languages, and had maybe 25 words at 2 years. But he's now in the middle of his language explosion. I'd give it a few more months and if you're still worried, see a speech pathologist.
