At what age do kids remember vacations?

@nicolestevens84 Best memories are not necessarily where you spend the most money, I have fond memories of going tent camping with my parents at age 5-6!

Breastfed exclusively for 6 months. Is formula ok now?

@matthew787 Oh my god I did not even see this comment. It’s 12yold and I still reported it, extremely unsafe bullshit practices in there

Breastfed exclusively for 6 months. Is formula ok now?

@pchris Especially the bullshit about the baby saliva that has never been proven.

Breastfed exclusively for 6 months. Is formula ok now?

@syneryder The point the upper comment was making is that because the studies you linked are observational, you cannot make any causal statements that breastfeeding actually is causing those outcomes.

    Newborn sleeping 5 1/2 hours and counting…

@jack98204 I mean, I don’t know what a “sleep schedule” is, we have a night routine (that started at what… 4-5 weeks probably?) at 20:30 every day just because we noticed that’s when he falls asleep every day. If you don’t give your kids structure they can’t figure it out by themselves, that’s...

C-Section mums who are pumping - How long did it take to fully establish your milk supply?

@moonphantom Yeah I would try to get your husband to do something like 8->12/12:30 so you can get 4-4:30 jours straight, that 100% will help. It’s his baby too, it’s important he takes some of the heat. > Currently I’m pumping every 2 hours-ish in the day until about 9pm, then every 3 hours...

C-Section mums who are pumping - How long did it take to fully establish your milk supply?

@moonphantom Make sure you drink plenty of water, get lots of food, and try to get enough sleep / get your partner to do those night shifts. What are the hours you pump at right now?

Realistically, is your newborn (7 weeks) going down for naps every 3 hrs after their feed?

@valerie22 French person in the US here, I think 7 weeks is too young for a schedule right? Focusing on making sure they know day and night, yes, but forcing a nap schedule during the day seems like hell to me.

Realistically, is your newborn (7 weeks) going down for naps every 3 hrs after their feed?

@valerie22 FWIW, every two hours would make my 5 week old cranky, we were told to wake him every three hours at most.
