    @qork I was told FMLA/maternity leave didn't kick in until the baby was out. I could take vacation or sick for labor, but not maternity leave. So she's probably checking the rules so you don't get burned.

    Long term deployment w/o family: would you do it?

    @jwesley I live in a community with a lot of military. I see the impacts. I absolutely would not do this. It will fundamentally change your family dynamics and there's a reason why most families will break under this.
