@spekgirl Thank you! I appreciate your concern! But yeah, I think you may be overreaching a bit. Her parents are lovely people. I think she was just really really really embarrassed and wanted to take care of it herself as much as possible.
@princessofgod18 Right?? L told her it'd happened to her too plenty of times and that it wasn't a big deal. Definitely easier to handle at a friend's house than in public...that woulda sucked.
@jhollisphoto Thanks! I think she did for sure, and I'm glad they continued hanging out for the rest of the evening. I'm proud of H too, for trusting us to help her and not letting it ruin her night.
@cfb107 Oh nooo.... not gonna lie, at the beginning of the story I thought it was malicious haha. I'm glad it was just an accident, and you can all laugh about it now.
And exactly... EVERYONE poops, and no one is perfect, so what's the big deal?
@joebudda1 Thanks, it was hard to not barge into the bathroom and take over. Really was. But all I did was knock on the door and ask H if she was ok and if she wanted help, and then let L continue taking care of it.
@vincentk22 Yeah, I think you're totally right about learning it from example.... it's hard to explain the concept to kids, but they know what it is when they feel it (or don't).
