i hate when people say “i wish i have/had twins”

@maylicia not sure why this is downvoted, thank you. i thankfully qualify for childcare subsidy. i’m unmarried to their father, he provides for them financially but isn’t on “child support” so in the eyes of the law; i’m a student, with twins and no help. i pay $1 a week for childcare due to my...

i hate when people say “i wish i have/had twins”

@slsheppard to piggy back off you, its weird how all twin parents aren’t “allowed” to air out their grievances without having to preface “i love my children” beforehand🤷🏻‍♀️. i KNOW i chose this life but not really!! i found out they were twins pretty late, i live in NYC so i was having trouble...

i hate when people say “i wish i have/had twins”

@mwoolstrum to expand on this, since i am studying medicine currently and kinda always had the knack for educating myself on certain areas; when i found out i was having twins, and they were my first children, and i had thalassemia (i got diagnosed while pregnant), i thought i would be the cause...

i hate when people say “i wish i have/had twins”

@lisas they said that B couldn’t be there because i risk getting him sick too. the thing is that A was hospitalized due to feeding issues, severe reflux and poor weight gain. it’s not like he had anything contagious. i was like “oh so should i not see at all then? because when i go home, i still...

i hate when people say “i wish i have/had twins”

@goatfish i wouldn’t mind so much if it wasn’t constant. i mean when we’re out we’re stopped i kid you not, like once every 5 minutes or so.

@youu it’s more so of i wish it didn’t feel like i was a circus attraction when im out 😂 im shy to begin with and would prefer to avoid conversations. i find when im out with just one twin, im just a normal mom. with two, (while they’re just trying to be nice) it gets annoying to say “two boys”...

i hate when people say “i wish i have/had twins”

@susannahlily i wasn’t upset that they were twins. never. i think maybe my post is missing the concept i was trying to make; my fault. when i saw the twins on the screen for the first time i actually couldn’t help but laugh 😅 nerves LOL

i hate when people say “i wish i have/had twins”

@katrina2017 i feel now i’m able to say that i am blessed to have my twins. i feel super accomplished with the fact they were born at 38 weeks, 6lbs and 5lbs 11oz. i think i sometimes let the difficult times eat me up. their smiles are definitely the bandaid for the rough days. everyday gets a...

i hate when people say “i wish i have/had twins”

my biggest pet peeve is when i’m out and about with my twins (didi boys, 3 mo) and strangers say “oh my goodness! i wish i had twins. you’re so blessed.” do not get me wrong, i am very happy with my life now. but when my boys were first born, that first month i legitimately thought i ruined...
