Forced to use disposables for a few weeks--WHY DOES ANYONE DO THIS?!

@pt8214 I’m a little confused are you saying you only change your babies twice a day? And could go with no changes with a bigger size.

    Best Carrier?

@xd005 I have a crazy amount of carriers and I would suggest a naked panda full buckle for you. They are squishy, comfortable a range of different materials options even do customs and will fit till much older. Don’t get the artipoppe they are very stiff and it’s all hype and marketing. They...

    Glass bottles keep cracking

@gabby777 I never used their brand nipples, I use pigeon, but they will work with any narrow nipple. Trick is not to screw the lid on top tight as that’s how the air gets out.

Why don’t more people use wool?

@joyful0128 Big thing for me is how you dress them changes, I only do wool in summer when they wear a tshirt and only at home. I didn’t like it in winter even with really warm long Wool pants because you can’t use shirts with snaps on them and their tummy gets cold. Honestly I had way to much...

Sleep consultants can FUCK. RIGHT. OFF. (Part 2 - The follow up)

@jillmj I don’t like precious little sleep, the tone of the book is the earlier you implement the sleep practices the easier it will be. I was a wreck trying to get my 2 month old to sleep in a cot with patting when all he wanted was me to hold him.

Teething for 2 months without any teeth to show for it, this is B A N A N A S

@65james If he’s pulling on his ears it would be a good idea to get them checked for an ear infection just in case. Drool and chewing on things is just a baby thing not necessarily teething.

Sleep Sacks: Can someone explain TOGs to me please?

@kw_pt1287 Yes go off room temp, if you know your house stays at that temp then go with the 1 tog. My house has no central heating and doesn’t hold the warmth in, even with a heater on. so I need the 3.5 tog during winter.

Sleep Sacks: Can someone explain TOGs to me please?

@glory19 I find it easy to check baby’s temp when cosleeping. When ever I wake up I feel the back of his neck. I personally use a sleep sack and then at a knitted blanket that has large holes as needed.

I’m torn abt whether or not to cloth full time

@dooks I do a lot of part time cloth, we do disposables overnight and as needed. If you can only wash every 2 weeks then doing 4 days of full cloth then washing is better than a little each day as they really shouldn’t be sitting there that long regularly. Or planning your cloth around your...
