    @tobiahjude99 We never used kiddie plates. I broke more plates in the first years of her life than she did. (I think I broke three? And she accidentally dropped one.)

    @squirrel123 I do not judge the mom, I judge the society that provides so little support to families that a baby has to suffer for their parent to stay alive. Pretending that the baby didn't suffer doesn't help us acknowledge that societal failing or work to fix it.

So pumping to relieve engorgement is a vicious cycle, and it's not recommended to pump to relieve engorgement unless you're missing a feed - hand expressing until comfortable removes less milk, so is a better way to tell...

    @brandon_d Your supply is constantly being tweaked up and down by your baby - they had a hungry day on Monday, so Tuesday there's a little more milk available. They had a sleepy day on Friday, so Saturday there's a little less milk available. That's fine and is how your body is evolved to work...

    @opinionsareopinions We never sleep trained. Coslept, bedshared, nursed to sleep, all the things they say you shouldn't do. My kid announced at 2.5years that she wanted to sleep in her bedroom because it was beautiful just like her. She is 5yo now, and still likes to snuggle and sometimes nurse...
