If your Kid were a straight-A student but also skipped school 2-3 days a week, what would you do?

@godblessed777 Then you should have a number of different options available to you for education that is more engaging. I would start by asking your principal to get an exception so that you can take the AP classes. After that, I would start looking at taking college classes or going to a...

If your Kid were a straight-A student but also skipped school 2-3 days a week, what would you do?

@godblessed777 Okay, so let me see if I'm understanding correctly. All of your classes are at the highest level, but you still feel bored and do the work easily. The only harder classes are AP classes but you are not allowed to do them. What have your parents or guardian said about this?

If your Kid were a straight-A student but also skipped school 2-3 days a week, what would you do?

@godblessed777 If they are getting those grades honestly then I would start applying to charter schools and applying for scholarships at private schools, because clearly the school is not challenging enough for my kid. I would also ask them why they are doing this behavior.

If your Kid were a straight-A student but also skipped school 2-3 days a week, what would you do?

@chris59 Okay, but your comment doesn't even suggest trying. Even if they didn't have better schooling options, people in this situation often are able to take college classes at whatever school is closest or get a scholarship to a private school.

Apparently, they start in the third trimester and continue during breastfeeding, so definitely don't give up spicy foods yourself. Kids also model their behavior after their parents, so even if your kid doesn't like...

If your Kid were a straight-A student but also skipped school 2-3 days a week, what would you do?

@godblessed777 I would talk to an administrator or even the principal about this and ask about getting an exception. Tell your parents you're going to do that first so they're not surprised.

How do I get my parents to stop being so strict about my screen time, and is this normal?

@shaggster If you were in high school, I would say that is too strict. However, you're not, and we know how bad social media can be for the developing mind and how addictive it can be.

    I have a bed time

@hayesruc Lol I often wasn't finished with my homework at that age until midnight. It's not like I was even hanging out with friends--I was just that busy.

    Question

@patdog122482 it's pretty normal to snack. As long as you're not waking up to do it, it's not a problem. Just try to make sure it's a healthy snack like hummus or leftover dinner.
