@midnightambrosia After reading all the responses, I did realize that he is in the “testing the waters” phase. We both need to come to some understanding of each other and how we feel. Good thoughts you, I can’t imagine what it’s like at 16!

@daexorn I do agree with this, and I do feel guilty about not talking to him more about it and what’s making him feel this way.

@tours He came in my room a few times to do it. I let it go for the first 3 times, but after that, it was just too much.

@rainydaysweaters Seriously we do. You’re right, I guess it’s because of the pressure of being that good parent, is exactly the same as my teenager feeling the pressure to fit in. This is eye opening.

@garberse I’ve been trying to think of stuff for us to do. We’re both gamer nerds, so do that together. I remember being this way as a teenager (“sorry, mom!”) I do feel for him.
