What’s your opinion on v tech / active toys?

@sajikr Thanks for this. I read that vtech should be limited to 20% of the toys/play, but I wondered if it should BE 20% or up to 20%, where 0% is OK? My 6 month old is really great at entertaining herself. We do lots of music, singing, and play on her little piano and drums. But we also just...

@sabtuhore I’ve heard amazing things about that toy from parents since my baby was 2 months old! Yes I’m nervous about Xmas and bdays too. I’m trying to plan a wishlist now.

What’s your opinion on v tech / active toys?

We have a 6 month old. So far she’s played with wood, cloth, rubber and silicone toys without batteries. As she’s getting older I’ve seen lots more suggestions for vtech toys (light up, make noise and/or move) We are a quiet house, but we play lots of music and sing songs, and go outside. We...

    3 y/o transition from crib to bed…

@alaina My daughter is not quite 2, but we transitioned her to a toddler bed very early. I took her a good 8 months to realize she could leave the bed after we put her down. We ended up putting a cover over the light switch and putting a lock on her door so she couldn’t open it, but she can...

My daughter (4) washed my back

@donkeyhead Oh my gosh this made me cry. Touch is such a deep connective way to show care and affection. Your 4.5 year old understands that it makes her feel good when you do that to her too. What a beautiful memory!
