Can’t Lose the Damn Weight - 2 Years Postpartum

@morirach When my youngest was about 18 months I saw a picture of myself with my oldest and was sort of appalled. I was about 20 lbs over my pre-pregnancy weight, which was about 10 lbs over what I'd like to be. My doctor recommended some book that recommended 30 mins daily of pretty intense...

My 2.5 year old is a DICTATOR and it’s hurting our relationship

@onlyjesus316 He just sounds very...2.5. My 3 year old is bossy about freaking everything and it's so exhausting. I pick my battles. If I offered 2 things for breakfast and he picks a third that's just as easy for me...that's an easy yes. He wants control over his life, so I give it to him...

Would you send your kid to daycare tomorrow?

@lmd0137 If she's under 100.4 she's 24 hours fever free with no meds by tomorrow and not so miserable she needs 1:1 attention, so yes, I'd send her tomorrow.

How do you have time to do anything?

@babszie I get up before my kids (4:30/5ish) so I can exercise before they get up. Once a week or so I go swim after they're in bed and my husband watches the Sopranos and eats ice cream and is the adult in the house if anyone wakes up or needs anything. I did switch my hours after having kids...

Another q on second (scheduled) c after emergency c with first

@jcbones Both of my c section babies coughed up a lot of fluid. The second (planned) one was a much worse nurser and threw up soooo much fluid. In a lot of ways my emergency c section was easier but the second was pandemicy which probably played a role.

Bed sharing but I keep being told that babies sleep better in there own rooms by people who in my bumper group

@huntinheros I do have a kid that sleeps better in his own room. I’ve tried bed sharing. He WILL NOT SLEEP. He also won’t sleep in the car or anywhere else he can see me. I guess I should be flattered that my existence is so exciting he can’t sleep but also it would be lovely if he could...
