We offer 2yo 11 hours sleep every 24h, but he has big split nights still. Is offering less really the way to go? He’s always tired!

@tavott His wake windows seems too long for his age. I would try and shorten that and nap a little longer

Is it true that the 6-8week period is the worst? I can’t put my baby down in her cot without her waking :(

@maryatheseeker Contact naps was the only way at that age

    Diaper rash won’t go away

@ho2008 I would take him back and ask for something stronger. My little one had the rash around his oenis area and it looked so sore. The gp ended up giving some steroid cream which cleared it up in a few days. Prior to that, we tried everything and nothing was working, felt like it was making...

Reddit put me off flying with a toddler but y’all were wrong

@johnd Of course, don’t listen to a bunch of strangers. We did an about the same flight time with our then 3 yr old and it was fine. He was entertained, he slept and ate ok. We took lots of entertainment and snacks and a tablet, which he didn’t even use. But we do a lot of long journeys, not by...

    Am I doing something wrong?

@chase33 You’re doing nothing wrong and I say enjoy this time when he’s having fun with others. I loved this time since I’d be able to get on with something else or just have half hour to myself. He’s still like this now but will make sure I’m about every so often 😂

Would a 10 hour drive be ridiculous with a 2 month old?

@effervescenteye At 8 months we did a 22 hr drive, took plenty of breaks. I know this is very different to a 2 month old, but if they are fairly ok in the car, then I would go for it.

What are you doing with baby stuff if you’re unsure?

@dog_nurse I’ve kept it all. Have a 3.5yr old now and started trying again. If it happens, it happens. If not, then I’ll give them away.

    Away from my baby

@anthony1013 When I was readmitted to hospital, my husband would stay with baby all day and then go to my parents to sleep so I could at least rest (I did not). See if they can accommodate your family

Older siblings of Reddit - what was / is it like for you to have a younger sibling?

@ericak101 I have a younger brother, only by 17 months. We have our ups and downs but mostly during our teenage years. We have always been close. Get on pretty well I would say. It was nice growing up with someone. I want a sibling for my little one too. I think it would be nice for him to have...

    Wits end with poop withholding

@realsam2 Honestly I don’t know how they do it and how they’d rather be in discomfort than just let it out!

    How much? How often?

@ricard Oh good. See what works. Even if it’s 3.5oz and go from there. Might just be extra hungry and growing

    Wits end with poop withholding

@realsam2 Can you up the meds so she has to go? Ours didn’t want to do it in a potty for a long while. He’s only just doing them there now. Used to pop a nappy on for poops. And also suffers from constipation so has to take meds

    How much? How often?

@ricard I would up the oz and see how they get on
