4 month regression? Almost 17 weeks and now refuses bassinet. Unsafe sleep situation last night.

@sweetkf I went through that wishful phase too 😂 after we sleep trained my son did 10.5hr nights and 2hr15naps at that age (only for 30 mins unless held which is developmentally normal). It was rough haha I hope your baby is actually high sleep needs!!!

4 month regression? Almost 17 weeks and now refuses bassinet. Unsafe sleep situation last night.

@sweetkf I made a different comment saying I think day sleep is excessive which is leading to shit night sleep, leading to overtiredness and struggling to get to sleep/getting really worked up. I just don’t want you to think that your child needs more than 3.5hrs of napping per day - the issue...

@pinkflower I’m up 3-4 times a night with my pets, plus twice to wee, and I’m only 19 weeks! I’ve had reflux and back pain for years and am used to waking up often to bottle feed kittens. I’m living the life of a new mum without the baby!

There will be crying, maybe more or less than you except. It’s hard but the alternative is worse ETA in my opinion the day sleep...

I’m exhausted and it’s my 6 month olds fault

@chesed28 “ I don’t let him hysterically cry, I intervene if that happens, is that why” - maybe. My son would cry pretty hysterically for about 1-2 mins max and then settle. Also, could be schedule related or teething. It’s very hard at this age.

Starting to refuse 2nd nap on 2/3/4

@darlingdaughter If it’s only been for 5 days it might just be a software upgrade in his brain so don’t do anything yet! However, his total sleep is on the high end. It is definitely too early for one nap and you have heaps of room to move with the 2 nap schedule! I would try 2.5/3.5/4. Or maybe...
