I’m so tired of hearing what other people did/ are doing with their babies

@charity78777 I wouldn’t have felt comfortable with any of that. Taking a newborn on a boat is crazy to me.

I did it. I told my ped.

@j010203t I told ours pretty early on and she just said she has to continue to recommend that we not. I suspect it was policy. However, same healthcare system, he was hospitalized and would not sleep in the hospital crib. Screamed and screamed and screamed. I tried to nurse him to sleep and...

My toddler doesn’t sleep well - he fell asleep tonight at 11pm and I feel so bad :(

@paker You need to be in charge, not your toddler. If he’s quiet and fidgetting in bed that isn’t that bad in my opinion. It sounds like he could be having night terrors. Talk to the doctor. When he wakes up and staring he probably isn’t actually awake. Waking up at the same time in the...

Can’t have a third kid :( please remind me why it’s ok?

@ztalbott My brother is 10 years older than me. We had a period of years where we were apart including across the country from each other multiple times. I moved to the south with my mother when I was in my early twenties and then moved to the west coast and came back. My brother stayed up...

My child is allowed to need me at night

@andee One cry and he sits in his bed and waits for me to come or his dad or brother. Other days he crawls out of the bed and comes looking. He is 22 months and has a floor bed. If he cries more it’s usually because he is still very sleepy and wants to nurse back to sleep.

My child is allowed to need me at night

@deeerek07 We had that happen a few times. It’s so scary and took so long to get him awake and calmed. It took turning on classic Thomas if I remember correctly. Doctor said he didn’t think it was night terrors because what could they be dreaming of. But my son was a NICU baby for a few days...

My toddler doesn’t sleep well - he fell asleep tonight at 11pm and I feel so bad :(

@james_1991 Say no but not the word no, find other ways to say it. Saying the word no too much can cause it’s own issues (ODD is a fun one..).

My child is allowed to need me at night

@retiefff That’s how my son is. He’s 22 months now and it’s hit or miss if he will wake up and be calm or crying if I’m not there.

Does anyone else’s working spouse do this? I swear it’s cognitive dissonance

@ajewelinhiscrown I think it might be time to assign her dish duty for a week and do your usual amount of cooking.
