The key to having a baby is not to stress about having a baby [F29]

@tiffanyc92 Pfft yeah maybe I should take the opposite advice and just stress my out like crazy and act as a control to this "just relax" theory. Like a previous comment said, women seem to get pregnant in aweful situations, and maybe then I'll get a BFP finally.

The key to having a baby is not to stress about having a baby [F29]

@liza0727 It started out just because Im a forgetful person, Im not one to keep track of days and cycles (also why I think it's super stupid that Im told to relax through the first year/year and a half). She was trying to help remember to take my meds (I was also diagnosed with hypothyroidism in...

The key to having a baby is not to stress about having a baby [F29]

@liza0727 Ill be honest. My biggest issue with her asking constantly (other than it starting to become triggering) is I would love to suprise her with a pregnancy when it's time... i dont want her to know from conception. I missed out on a suprise proposal because of her too (she bribed my...

@atrh111 Stress is not causing my infertility, infertility is causing my stress - that's going to be my new mantra when I hear that phrase!

The key to having a baby is not to stress about having a baby [F29]

@ys2000 After talking to my therapist I managed to tell both my mom and my MIL that the "relax" comments have been really triggering. And told my mom that her pestering has been hurting me recently. They both took it very well :)

@rtd2 That must have been a horrific experience for you, Im sorry. Im settling down after moving to a new city for my husband's career change, and that's been overwhelming as is... a destroyed home is devastating, cant believe the audacity of people.

The key to having a baby is not to stress about having a baby [F29]

@janestryker You know what, I think thats a key piece I missed - saying I need to relax feels like Im the one at fault while TTC. I think a part of me hears "you weren't relaxed enough..its your fault" when I hear that phrase. My MIL told it to me just this morning after I posted too. Ugh. I...

The key to having a baby is not to stress about having a baby [F29]

I wanted to write this because I''m finally starting to crack. When I first went off birth control 2.5 years agoI I knew I would have trouble getting pregnant. A lifetime of PCOS predicted it. I remember being told that I was overplanning, stressing too much, too anxious. I wasn't. If we had...
