Why should I not let my baby “use me as a human pacifier”

@aeryn This exactly thing happened to my niece. My niece is 2.5 and will need to be put out to correct the cavities. When they comfort nurse milk is constantly in their mouth feeding bacteria and tooth decay.

How is everyone’s LO eating so much at 6-7 weeks?

@kcollins14 It’s great she’s sleeping for you during the night but it might just be a time to squeeze a feed in. Maybe you can do a dream feed since she’s sleeping good!

How is everyone’s LO eating so much at 6-7 weeks?

@kcollins14 At 7 weeks my EBF baby was only eating 2 to 3 oz a feed. It was a battle but he was also eating every two hours, even in the night. Is she still eating every two to three hours at night? That helps get feeds in.

Baby is 1 and a half and I haven’t had a period yet. Anyone else? Does it have to do with nutrition?

@robtarc Same. So annoying. What’s even more annoying is I have to do IVF anyways. I ovulate and just can’t get pregnant. My period is useless haha

    i don’t wanna pump anymore

@brandon_d You’re actually pumping way more than most people. A lot of people only get half an ounce if that if they pump right after a feeding.

Anyone else have a giant baby?

@washedinhisblood My six month old is 99 percentile. He’s massive. He was in 9 to 12 month stuff at 4 months BUT his growth rate seems to have slowed the past month. The pediatrican said this is normal. The growth curve slows down around 6 months.

I need help - baby is not gaining weight

@apa You are not a failure but a baby must be continuously gaining at that age. Her fussiness is likely hunger. Do the formula. Triple Feed. You nurse then pump while she has a formula top up. It will increase your supply so you can eventually be EBF. A lot of us had to supplement at some point.
