Has anyone been a SAHM during the day while husband is at work and then gone to work in the evenings? How did it work out for you?

@lesbian5eva If your baby isn't a good sleeper, this is going to be a recipe for disaster. Your marriage and mental health will suffer.

Doctor said my 6mo needs PT

@springwillow Do the evaluation with the PT. They are the experts on this, not the NP or you, and they will assess if PT is really necessary or not. Early intervention evaluations are free in the US. It doesn't hurt, only helps. If your child doesn't land up qualifying, then great. But you...

Doctor said my 6mo needs PT

@rflo87 As a therapist myself, this is not how Early intervention PT companies work. Early intervention is a state run program and there are not "cuts" for referrals or anything like that...

Doctor said my 6mo needs PT

Doctor said my 6mo needs PT

@brianball Generally curious how it's outside of a NP scope of practice to recommend early intervention services? I work in early intervention and NP's provide us referrals all the time.

Doctor said my 6mo needs PT

@macherieamour Yes thank you!! That statement made me cringe so hard as an OT. If you want to set an OT off, call them a PT or say they are under a PT 😅

Has anyone been a SAHM during the day while husband is at work and then gone to work in the evenings? How did it work out for you?

@afterhours Yeah I agree. The sleep deprivation itself is so hard, let alone working two jobs! Being at home with baby all day is definitely a job.
