I’m so tired of hearing what other people did/ are doing with their babies

@charity78777 The boat thing is effing mind-boggling. I recently refused to take my almost-3-year-old on a boat because I know her, she is feral, and she can’t swim. I do not consider this unreasonable. A 3-week-old? I mean, good for them, I guess. My ass had PPA. 🤷🏼‍♀️

"pUt YoUr BaBy DoWn GrOgGy BuT aWaKe"

@robert777 It’s lies, all lies. Mine’s 13 months and I still don’t see what was supposed to be so bad about feed to sleep. It worked great for us. We don’t have to do it anymore but we do still let her fall asleep on one of us and transfer her once she’s good and passed out.

Is it better to give my baby as much breast milk as possible in 6 months or space it out in smaller amounts for a year?

@jointron33 Oh my god yes. I think I gave away six months’ worth of frozen milk in the end. At one point I was producing almost enough to feed twins, and very little of the excess actually ended up in my kid 😂 I started weaning when my beloved little traitor tried cow’s milk for the first time...

Is it better to give my baby as much breast milk as possible in 6 months or space it out in smaller amounts for a year?

@seye I came here to say this but want to add that my daughter was cool with my frozen milk until she started on solids, and I guess got a sense of what food SHOULD taste like, and then was like “hell no I’m not drinking this” and that’s how I found out I had high lipase and donated my entire...

What are the best phrases you never thought you’d have to say?

@katia20 Thanks for the laugh; this definitely sounds like something my 2.5yo would do!
