Why do YOU use cloth diapers?

@ilovegod123 Nope! 🤣 I think that's why she advised it. I was like 22 months when my brother was born and not 100% and there was a regression. Then he was 18 months when my youngest brother was born. So she had 2 in diapers for a while.

Why do YOU use cloth diapers?

@ilovegod123 It's definitely an incentive to potty train early! Not to mention life is just easier with only one in diapers. My Mum had 3 kids in just over 3 years and that is always her advice if people ask about having more kids. Yeah, we get a few months a year where it is an option. Covers...

Why do YOU use cloth diapers?

@ilovegod123 So if you consider break even 1 year, and have 2 kids that are 100% potty trained by 2 years old that is significant savings. (I beleive I read somewhere that the average American kid is potty trained around 3, 3 1/2? anecdotally I have read Potty Training is easier for kids who are...

So glad we did cloth diapers - r/all had a room full of disposable diapers

@nguyentrongphuoc My first was born in 2020. Apparently diaper shortages were a thing. I never had to run out for diapers.

Cosleeping vs bed sharing for 4 month old

@xuanang01 This is such a hot topic. But most importantly YOU NEED TO GET MORE SLEEP. As you said, flying that sleep deprived is incredibly dangerous. You need to figure out how to do this. If your partner can take on some more of the sleep debt safely, consider that. Re: bedsharing... I've...

So glad we did cloth diapers - r/all had a room full of disposable diapers

@kinghenzy just realized you asked about adapting to an unknown machine. I just go for whatever is closest to a heavy soil, cold wash, extra rinse, then heavy soil, hot water and extra rinse.

So glad we did cloth diapers - r/all had a room full of disposable diapers

@kinghenzy We have a lot of diapers, so that helps! Usually, the dirty diapers just come home for the wash, but I've done laundry at my Sil's and my aunt and uncle's. I bring my own detergent and Google water hardness before I go, but I figure as long as I use an appropriate amount of detergen...

So glad we did cloth diapers - r/all had a room full of disposable diapers

@sarahdosher My original plan was to use disposables for traveling. Never happened. We started cloth day 5, took our first kid on his first overnight trip at 13/14 days old and just went for it with the cloth and never looked back. I have taken cloth diapers on camping trips, backpacking trips...

So glad we did cloth diapers - r/all had a room full of disposable diapers

@heathercc7774 Absolutely! Don't have twins but I do have 2 kids in diapers. Constantly being ontop of that inventory sounds like a PITA

Another mom told me I have a fat a** today

@sakura656 Boom! Well done 👏🏼 Honestly the rage is still coursing through my body, but this made me feel much better. There is literally nothing else you, a reasonable human and responsible parent, could have done in this situation. Encounters like this make my blood boil because what are your...

    Babygoal v. Nora’s v. Thirsties

@maxx55 getting ready for #2 and been wondering how the Thirsties are going to hold up as the inner gusset elastics seem very difficult to replace. Happy to read this as I love my Thirsties covers!

    Babygoal v. Nora’s v. Thirsties

@cap1975 7w is young so it sounds like you did the right thing and have a big baby. Just want to mention that when they get more active - rolling, then crawling, then walking you may be going back down a rise as their little legs slim down a bit.

    Food prep and simplifying home

@toysernis Mirepoix is so useful. I have never seen it pre... arranged? in the stores. I have seriously considered doing several freezer bags of it.

    Food prep and simplifying home

@bornmc I make extra when I cook/food prep. (This might (ha!) be difficult at 3 weeks PP with no extra time.) Then I have access to a few freezer meals each week and as they run out I just make one new thing to eat & freeze on weekends. eg. Make a double batch of veggie burgers, eat some...
