    Why are pregnancy clothes hideous?

@linlee I bought what I thought was a lovely flowy dress when I was 15 weeks pregnant. At the time I had the cutest little bump. I tried to wear this dress at 36 weeks and it turns out it was just a big sack ☹️ It also had weird loose cap sleeve things that looked great until I started getting...

    Holy daycare sickness, Batman!

@gnosisofthomas That must be tough ☹️ even when my bubba is sick we go on a daily walk around the block at least to get some fresh air - keeps me sane! Could this be an option for you?

    Holy daycare sickness, Batman!

@mac4701 Ugh, being sick and looking after a sick baby is absolutely brutal!! My poor husband has been copping it from the bugs bub is bringing home from the baby room AND the ones I’m bringing home from the toddlers at work. We haven’t hit winter yet, but I’m not holding high hopes that we...

Why don’t more people use wool?

@joyful0128 I can definitely see why more people wouldn’t use wool, the cost and convenience of PUL is a lot more attractive. We use wool at night over our super bulky fitteds and love it! It took a long time to get into, though. Bub was 3 months before we tackled night nappies and 5 months...

    Holy daycare sickness, Batman!

@praisebetohisnoodliness I knew it was coming, but it is so hard 🥲 My son loves it, too! Thankfully he settles back in relatively easily - although this is helped by the fact he’s known his educators since the day he was born basically haha I’m hoping it slows down when he stops putting things...

    Holy daycare sickness, Batman!

I’ll preface this by saying that I know children get sick in daycare - I’m an educator with nearly 12 years of experience! I’ve seen it all! But my 10 month old started at care (my place of employment) 6 weeks ago. Only 6! In that time he has had HFM, a green nose that will not go away even...

    Diaper rash is inevitable

@wren84 Not sure why you’re being downvoted 🤷🏻‍♀️ my baby has very sensitive skin, lots of eczema usually cause by the heat, and at least once a week he has a bit of a red bum - this occurs in cloth AND disposable. Not a full blown rash because we cake his bum with cream as soon as it appears...

Factors that contributed to your OAD decision

@graceelaaaa Yes to all of these. Particularly money. Increasing cost of living is a major factor for us. Financially, would we be okay with more than one? Maybe. But neither my husband and I want to be just “okay”, we want to give our son opportunities we wouldn’t be able to with 2+, like...
