PLEASE ADD TO MY LIST OF THINGS YOU'D TELL YOUR YOUNGER SELF

@ticketbroker For my kids, I compared it to video games: Save early, save often. The more saves you have, the easier it gets to do the things you want to do.

PLEASE ADD TO MY LIST OF THINGS YOU'D TELL YOUR YOUNGER SELF

@zina200045 For "cream rises to the top", we also have to remember that such doesn't happen when the milk is constantly being stirred. It needs to be relatively calm for that to happen. Same to a degree in life. You can be the absolutely best at your job, but if the employer environment is a...

PLEASE ADD TO MY LIST OF THINGS YOU'D TELL YOUR YOUNGER SELF

@deadcalm Look into the rules around it and Roth IRA's. For example, I think the 529 has to be at least 15 years old before the money can be moved, the moves are subject to annual contribution limits, etc. Even with all that, it's nice that there is the option.

@gabe7587 First, CONGRATS! This is an exciting and sometimes overwhelming time. Just remember that there are no rules and kids are little chaos engines. Listen to your instincts and feel free to ignore unsolicited advice - even mine! As many others have pointed out, weight fluctuations can be...

Can landlord and neighbours give me trouble for 2 instances of baby crying?

@katrina2017 Yes, they are, but it sounds like the landlord is passively agreeing with the unreasonable tenants. My reply was thinking that it might be worth pointing out to the landlord that OP can be just as unreasonable if necessary without actually going that far.

Can landlord and neighbours give me trouble for 2 instances of baby crying?

@darkcainz So a 3 year old and a 10 year old live above you, huh? Have they ever made noise that has woken or disturbed you? Specifically thinking early in the morning when they are running around, etc. While the "tit for tat" game usually doesn't doesn't work out for the best for anyone...
