    How to dispose soft poop

After they are rinsed, I wring out what excess water I can and keep the damp diapers in a small pail beside the toilet until wash day (every 3 days)

    How to dispose soft poop

@calebes I think I'm just desensitized because I'm a nurse and literally spend 90% of my work day changing dirty diapers on the elderly. My husband is more squeamish. If you wash your hands well after its really not a big deal.

    How to dispose soft poop

@phideltbeers Dip the diaper in the toilet bowl, swirl it around/scrub what you can off, then wash your hands🤷🏼‍♀️ you're always going to occasionally get some funky/soft poops that aren't going to plop off nicely.

    Diaper rash is inevitable

@cathya Some babies are more sensitive then others or may be more susceptible to rashes That being said, it is 100% NOT inevitable. We basically never have a rash and I'm on my second cloth diapered baby. In fact some babies do better on cloth because they don't have the same chemicals on their...

    Diaper rash is inevitable

@anamikads You need detergent for both washes. On whatever your heavy duty setting is. First wash can be warm, half amount of. Detergent. Second wash in hot water whatever your heaviest longest setting is with full amount of detergent. Bleach should not be necessary. I'm wondering if this could...

Thank you everyone. I will start doing a normal plus heavy instead of rinse plus heavy. Annoying since these are all lpo pockets and I have always followed their instructions listed on their website to the letter!

Bulking up an H. E. Washer

@amazingayla Yes it's a top loader. Came with the house unfortunately 😅. The lid is breaking on mine so it always alarms at me, and I curse this stupid machine almost daily lol. When I use the heavy duty for my main wash it already automatically turns on the deep clean.

Bulking up an H. E. Washer

Wondering if other people bulk up their high efficiency washers when washing diapers? I have the whirlpool high efficiency cabrio machine that has a low profile agitator. Every 2 to 3 days I wash about 25 pocket diapers with inserts. Machine is maybe half full? Cold water rinse then heavy duty...
