    breastfeeding 2 day old

@msmat Colostrum and formula. I was nursing or pumping all day and night for like two weeks, it was awful. We had to supplement with that special hospital ready-to-feed formula starting on day two or three, for a week or two, because he got severely jaundiced. Formula increases their liquid...

    breastfeeding 2 day old

@quangqui007 I hemorrhaged significantly with #1 and my milk took 8-9 days to come in. Ended up with an oversupply and breastfed until he was 14 months old and self-weaned. Had a “smaller” hemorrhage this time and milk came in on day 4. Your life for the first week of their life is just...

    Milk supply question

@misskeng Isn’t it crazy? I had renal failure with my first birth and had no appetite for the first few months PP. I rapidly lost way too much weight, had no muscle mass, and still had a major oversupply of milk until my kid was like 10 months old. This time around everything was perfect...

    Easy adjust travel stroller

@alliah How easy is it to convert this from accepting a Mesa clip in to having the regular seat? I was looking at this so when at home, I could keep it in the car and just clip the Mesa into it for quick in and out errands. But I’d also like to use it as a regular travel stroller with the seat...

    Easy adjust travel stroller

@godslovewillblesstheworld Oh wow. Maybe. But honestly I prioritize something that folds easily with a tiny footprint. Plus my older kid is really only in the stroller when he wants to focus on snacking or there is extended uphill travel; he walks most of the time. I’ll wear baby when toddler...

    Easy adjust travel stroller

@hewhoshallnotbenamed We live in a walkable area so I use the Vista for most errands, no car. When I have to do something that requires a car, I try to plan it so I only have one kid; wear the infant or have toddler walk. If necessary, I load the Vista in the trunk. You can’t fold it with the...

    Easy adjust travel stroller

@hewhoshallnotbenamed Congratulations! I really just use it for travel. But I travel pretty often, and only bring the double stroller 80% of the time. And that’s exactly it: toddler walks and baby is in stroller, then baby is worn and toddler is in stroller, rinse and repeat. We use a Vista...

    Easy adjust travel stroller

@hewhoshallnotbenamed Oooh those do look easy! Thank you. I bet it can try it out at Nordstrom, they have most Nuna stuff. I love my Inglesina Quid but it takes so long to adjust the harness between kids. We’ve been using and abusing it for 2+ years, and it might not be long for this world...

    Easy adjust travel stroller

Looking for a travel stroller I can quickly swap between my 5 month old and 2.5 year old. Any recommendations for travel strollers with a really easy to adjust harness and sun shade? (Bonus for easy one-handed fold and unfold too) Thanks!

Suggestions for short torso 5'3" C-section mom

@mshelia 5’3” mom here, emergency Cesarean with my last. I started using a k’tan around the house after about 4 weeks. Was great! I don’t know if I could have done it sooner; was too scared to try.

When did your belly snap back?

@cernunnos EBF both my kids and exercise regularly. With the first, it was really fast. Like 6-8 months? And I was 80% there by 3 months. With the second kid… TBD 😞 Had a four-pack (never really got all six) before having two giant kids.

Baby wearing outdoors in the winter?

@aishaaa This gets asked pretty often in this sub. You can search for old threads that will likely yield lots of input for you. Personally, I scored a fantastic second hand maternity coat that also fit nicely over my son when I front wore during his first and second winters (February Baby). It...

    C-Section Tenderness

@linley Honestly it’s been over two years since mine and it still feels uncomfortable with pressure. I can’t do the stretches with my pelvis against the handle bars after cycling classes because of the discomfort. But the burning you describe lasted only a few months PP though.
