Took a job 6 months ago that is hybrid. (Advertised 2 days a week) and they just announced they are going back to fully in office

@fleckphan Unfortunently nothing. Plus my contract has language that changes in work place policy will hold control over contract/offer letters. This was a change in work place policy, so it wouldn’t have mattered. It’s just sleezy of them. Not that I think any company really cares about thier...

@bettyboo16 It’s all speculation but they did a bunch of surveys, resulting in the majority not wanting to return to office and we’ve had record breaking years since WFH/hybrid- they have the opposite of data supporting return to office fully.

@lugiboss Yup, this hurts working mothers the most. VP and director level are all men with sahm and who’s kids are already grown. Childcare has gone up 30% in my area , and many programs have closed since Covid so it’s impossible to get into centers right now. Not to mention Women still do the...

@foxhound21136 Yup. The company is great in their industry and typically sought after positions. Some people might stay for a little bit, but once they have the name on their resume for a year or so They will leave. I was outwardly pissed , my manager is also not happy and has expressed his...

I took a better paying job at a company that had been recruiting me for a year in Jan 2023 , I actually turned down a job there right before Covid because they were 5 days in the office and I was working hybrid at the time and the extra money wasn’t worth going into an office. After Covid though...
