    WWYD, kindergarten for July baby?

@jellofishxo So I was a mid august baby and I went at 5. I was always in accelerated / gifted programs and progressed normally. If I had started at six I would’ve have really struggled with being bored in call. Some kids repeated kindergarten if they weren’t ready for first grade. It was easier...

"pUt YoUr BaBy DoWn GrOgGy BuT aWaKe"

@katrina2017 I nursed to sleep when ever she needed it. She is six months and sometimes still needs it but the majority of time she is fine now. I loved nursing her to sleep and still relish it. It feels so natural and nice. There is a reason they recommend warm milk to help you fall asleep...

Any articles on car seat time limit safety? Husband wants to take 6 m y/o on 25 hour trrip

@umaid Yeah I mean. I think I’ve pushed my baby to 90 minutes in the car seat, but when we did our trip, we needed to stop pretty much every 90 minutes or so. Your baby will need to burp, eat, be changed, get wiggles out, etc. every two hours at least. It will take a full extra day of driving.

Any articles on car seat time limit safety? Husband wants to take 6 m y/o on 25 hour trrip

@umaid We did a 7 hour road trip with our six month old and we landed closer to 12 hours. She needed to be changed or fed/ burped every two hours. Which meant an additional 30 minutes for every two hours of driving. I would say plan for a full extra 12 hours for the trip. It will not be two...

Any thoughts on a 7a-3p work schedule?

@yesnice I work in tech leadership at a media company, so my job is very laid back. I do take a lunch break and I even have the luxury of running an errand occasionally. About twice a month I need to catch up on work outside of those times. If you are in a very scheduled back to back meeting...

Any thoughts on a 7a-3p work schedule?

@yesnice Do you have time zone differences with anyone you work with? I work 7–3 but I manage a team on the East Coast and I’m on the West Coast and it’s really no big. I can’t imagine if it was reversed, and I worked those hours and managed a team on the west coast living on the east coast...
