@eoim Were you hemorrhaging from retained placenta? Did they do an ultrasound to have a look at contents of your uterus? Retained pieces of placenta can affect milk production. But you were doing well for the first two weeks so that might not make sense but I thought worth mentioning.

@aletia If you can I would suggest working with an IBCLC with regards to hopefully weaning from the shield as it can affect milk transfer and supply.
I wouldn’t be too concerned about a teaspoon of formula twice a day. That’s a very small amount in the whole scheme of things.
@aletia Was this the first weight at the doctor?
Are you comparing the weight between the weight at home and the doctor’s office?
Are you still using the nipple shield?
