How do you manage grocery requests?

@joeawilliams123 Yes, that's an excessive list (though it makes me want to add brie to my shopping list). I don't see the problem with the therapists suggestion to talk it out. Gives you the chance to show your kid exactly how much all of that would cost, dietary benefits from whole foods...

My son is failing miserably in school

@flickabee He's at home. He has tentative plans to move out with a friend at some point - we'll be a safety net for him. Some union jobs are highly skilled, some aren't. He's in a warehouse, moving boxes all day. He's unflinchingly polite, and incredibly kind. That really helps.

My son is failing miserably in school

@getlostinthewild I hate to say this, but I don't have much advice. My kid was the same way - we dragged him through high school. He didn't succeed, but he did graduate. We're a few years out now, and I'd ask him how he feels - but he's at his full-time, 8-4, union job. Manual work, where...

    I’m broken beyond repair

@trojie I have a good friend who recently passed. He ran a hell of a D&D game. I hope he's found your Alex and asked if he'd like to join his campaign.

    I’m broken beyond repair

@trojie Mods, apologies in advance if this isn't okay - I'll delete if you'd like. If you look in OPs post history, it's not hard to find a gofund me (linked in a news article) set up for funeral expenses. I kicked in a few bucks, I hope those of us who can will do the same - momma, I'm...

How many every day shoes for 9y/o?

@minh My boys would prefer another pair of shoes to any other clothing item or accessory. Could you get another pair, but from a discount place like DSW or Shoe Carnival? I tend to give the nicer sneakers as Christmas or birthday gifts.

Everyone things I'm crazy for being excited

@katholischen_miliz Someone saw your kid, and saw the kid and the abilities, not the just the hyper, not just the non-verbal. I think that's awesome. I think the coach is awesome, and I think you standing up for your kid is awesome. Kick ass, little dude.

What would you do? I need advice on this situation with my 16/f daughter!

@k3at I'd wait to hear back from the teacher - I can't imagine you wouldn't be able to go to that showing.
