What’s your worst part of being a one and done parent?

@mercuryash If it makes you feel any better at all, I had a playdate with my friend with two who are close together (less than 2 years. Optimal "built in friend" gap). Spring break has been hell for her. I'm drained from running after my preschooler a lot. She has been literally keeping her kids...

What’s your worst part of being a one and done parent?

@jolene250 Agreed. If you can get a core group together, it does a lot for opening up playdates (and, even better, you can start integrating into bigger friend groups, like one of my now good friends introduced me to another friend and I introduced her to a few other moms with kids the same...

15 months in…. When do I sleep again?

@allisonbella We originally wanted 2. We're now one and done after everything. I had awful PPD and sleep issues still set off bad depressive episodes for me now. I know I couldn't be the best mother for my daughter let alone another one if I went back to newborn sleep issues. We'd have to either...

15 months in…. When do I sleep again?

@allisonbella About 2.5 my daughter became a pretty reliable sleeper. She's closing in on 5 and I'm finally starting to feel somewhat rested again after years of sleep deprivation

I’m scared of my husband going back to work on Monday

@edtkw 110% on the toddlers With my PPD, people telling me "you think newborns are hard? Just wait until you have a toddler!" nearly sent me suicidal (I was going "if it gets worse than this, I might as well check out now") Yeah, there are rough days with my almost 3-year-old as well, but I...
