One and done with an easy pregnancy and easy (so far) baby?

@breanne you don’t have to suffer to be one and done. why would your child resent you if you’re a good parent who gives them a good life?

Baby is 1 and a half and I haven’t had a period yet. Anyone else? Does it have to do with nutrition?

@olivemcr i didn’t get mine back until we were down to one session a day. well over a year.

Income keeps going up but husband doesn’t want to outsource any chores

@gembeldolar one thing at a time. maybe he gets to keep his lawn care to himself, but compromises on hiring a cleaner. maybe the cleaner doesn’t come every week, but rather once a month for a deep clean and you guys keep it clean in between. maybe the cleaners come when he’s at work or whatever...

I don’t have a mom or a lot of family. Give me some motherly advice and tips about my first born

@madscribbler you will experience your highest highs and your lowest lows. you will meet the best of you and the worst of you. this goes for your partner as well. be quick to apologize and quick to forgive. put the bouncer in your bathroom and take a shower when you need to. a google...

Will my breasts really shrink after breastfeeding?

@jebaben yupp, even if they don’t the difference isn’t as drastic as when you first start or stop breastfeeding. at first, they’re engorged while you establish supply. then they level out as you continue breastfeeding. when you stop, they’re super deflated at first but again level out. it takes...

Will my breasts really shrink after breastfeeding?

@red5 i didn’t do anything after weaning. didn’t gain or lose weight. didn’t go to the gym (although i’ve always been a daily walker). by my kid’s 2nd birthday i noticed my body was mostly back to its original state, except i now i had a huge c section scar lol

Will my breasts really shrink after breastfeeding?

@con4christ88 yes, they will go back to your original size. sagging is more unpredictable. i breastfed for 15 months. after i stopped, they looked pretty deflated. but within 6 months they were back to looking how they looked pre pregnancy. i got a lot of elasticity back. i went C - DD - C.

@docmrm 3 hours is definitely doable. just take snacks and toys

I had to listen to my SiLs baby CIO over the holidays

@heegar there are more than enough inhumane, psychotic posts on that sub that gain traction for it to taint the entire sub. there are a million other places to learn good sleep hygiene.

"pUt YoUr BaBy DoWn GrOgGy BuT aWaKe"

@katrina2017 i feel like this is a dumb question but i’ve been wondering… when you feed to sleep do you still burp them?

I had to listen to my SiLs baby CIO over the holidays

@singbassman you did the right thing! that’s not the same as CIO at all.

I had to listen to my SiLs baby CIO over the holidays

@crocodilehuricane when they say “baby has a full belly, clean diaper, safe shelter so let them CIO” it grinds my gears. it’s a special level of stupid to completely disregard that a baby (especially a human one) may have emotional needs.

I know it's nothing compared to some people here but I've officially made it 2 months breastfeeding!

@clemdawg those first few months are the hardest. absolutely brutal. congrats on making it!
