What happens to poor sleepers who aren’t sleep trained?

@ebveloz Where I live sleep training (CIO) is heavily frowned upon so we didn't do it. My kid started sleeping short stretches by herself at ten months old (before that she would only sleep on/next to us). We moved her into her own room at 15 months old and she sleeps through the night now. Just...

Is it possible to take too much parental leave?

@jdthcstl My husband took six weeks paid leave after our daughter was born and then eight months (yes months) of paternity leave after I went back to work. He didn't want it to end.

@hysterical Yeah we get most things second hand. The only thing we bought new was a car seat (it’s recommended you don’t buy them used) and occasionally I’ll splurge on a cute outfit but most clothes are second hand as well as stroller, changing table, crib etc etc. I don’t wanna buy all this...

What To Do If Your Partner Starts to Hemorrhage at Home, Especially During Covid (aka "How To Save Your Wife")

@pddan This story is wild. I’m glad your wife is okay! Good tip with the ambulance. Always call the ambulance in cases like this. I know this isn’t as easy in the US as it is in other places because it costs money there but it’s still so important not to drive her yourself in an emergency as...
