BF v FF shame and “attachment theory”

@jli57772 Yes! My boyfriend is very supportive of FF and actually suggested for us to look in to it because he was also FF. With my mom I never knew it was an option.

BF v FF shame and “attachment theory”

@lordsservant121 Haha glad I’m not the only one obsessively calling their mom. I really am loving the idea of both of us feeding. I’m very in to equal partnership and from what I’m learning it’s a great way to practice it.

BF v FF shame and “attachment theory”

@tikiana Yes! This was something I was thinking about. I was like I’m not going to bond with the baby because I’m going to be so mentally drained. The bottle feeding co-responsibilities is really helping me with perspective. I’ve honestly seen people pumping and go - well that will be my...

@minister_c I’m glad it worked out for you. Sucks that I didn’t get to chose but my health care provided 100 percent coverage and you had to “only take out what is needed for back issues) but still I think I’m good and hey my bf ain’t mad lol. Okay that gives me hope during pregnancy because I...

BF v FF shame and “attachment theory”

@minister_c Um best decision I ever made. I had double Gs and now I’m down to ddd which doesn’t seem like that much but they’re obviously now facing forward and much lighter. I had a shitty male doctor who because it was reconstructive and not “plastic surgery” he wasn’t able to give me what I...

BF v FF shame and “attachment theory”

@minister_c I had breast reduction too (once). I’m assuming already that I can’t which helps the whole having the milk makes you want to breast feed. I’ve told my friends that and their pretty supportive of me and then have had nightmares breast feeding so I’m just like hey! This is Great option...

BF v FF shame and “attachment theory”

@swissbts22 I love kids - I nannied infants and worked at my moms school with 3 and 4 year olds. I nannied first a 3 year old for a year and almost felt like she was my kid! Not that it matters but I know I’ll be a great mom because of it and also just because in general. I think the attachment...

BF v FF shame and “attachment theory”

@ansem I think comments like these - which a lot of other people have said makes me feel like formula from the start will put less stress on me from the get and the anxiety beforehand about latching and feeding will calm me down about having an infant.

BF v FF shame and “attachment theory”

@bobbysarah Yes this answer puts me at so much ease! All the comments do. I had such a negative feeling already about my mental health get in the way of being there for my baby. I almost felt like I wasn’t ready because of that. I feel like that weight has been lifted from with with all these...

BF v FF shame and “attachment theory”

@eddie12 I had breast reduction surgery so definitely not the same boat as you at all in anyway. but there’s a large chance I wouldn’t be able to regardless. That with my mental health issues means I don’t really have another choice. My mom almost didn’t want me to get it because of I couldn’t...

@luke2242 I think my mom feel differently when she’s helping me feed and spending more time with the baby. She’s a mush and is going to forget all about it and then probably be PRO FORMULA (the woman loves her opinions) I totally agree fuck the noise and thank you ❤️

BF v FF shame and “attachment theory”

@kadee Damn this response is so powerful the “losing weight easier” is something I’ve thought of which is so messed up. I’m not heavy very average but I’ve been like “oh no ill never get my body back” - no wonder we all have body dysmorphia. Thank you!

BF v FF shame and “attachment theory”

@nursered Totally and I love this response thank you for the time. I feel like these breast is best people are out of control. The YouTube vids I watch are like FIRST OF ALL BREAST IS BEST BUT ... Instead of saying - this is the difference between the two. And these are doctors first of all -...

BF v FF shame and “attachment theory”

@nursered I’ve thought a lot about this comment - how do you feel about the whole “chemicals” aspect? I don’t really believe in that but I’ve been seeing all these “breast is best” on YouTube as I’m looking at formula and everyone is so critical about it (doesn’t change my mind just interested...
