    Exclusively breastfeeding vs Pumping?

@apers1 Thanks. That’s the one. It was difficult to find because Foteini had her last name changed due to marriage I believe.

    Exclusively breastfeeding vs Pumping?

@apers1 The link you shared references the same 2013 study that I am looking for, also giving a broken link. Does anyone have a working link to the 2013 paper?

Tired of “words I can’t pronounce”

@james700 I don’t have PhD but the folks over at the American Academy of Pediatrics have some of those degrees and such. According to them, there’s plenty of unnecessary endocrine disrupting chemicals in the food supply too. They even say that certain food colorings seem to have an effect on...

Just my critique of that day care Medium article that is always circulating this sub as it relates to nannies and familial care

@girlperson That’s not the intention of the article. Easy for me to say because we don’t use any childcare. As parents we are all doing what we can with what we got and trying our best. If it makes you feel any better, I feel like a bad parent for not allowing any grandparent time (there’s...

Tired of “words I can’t pronounce”

@odianosen I think that’s why they want to “be able to pronounce” the ingredients. They want to know the words and the ingredients to protect their children from things that should not be fed to babies. If they don’t know the word, they skip the item and find one that has ingredients they...

    Anyone use cloth baby wipes?

@dobsonsdogs I use the little microfiber face towels and wet them with a water bottle when on the go. When at home, each and every poop gets washed off in the sink immediately/asap. They get washed with bleach and I typically have to run it through two wash cycles to get all the poop out. I have...

    Exclusively breastfeeding vs Pumping?

@tinygiraffe “These findings complement emerging quantitative evidence that suggests that feeding pumped HM may not confer the same benefits to infants as feeding them at the breast and may introduce other risks. This possibility raises urgent questions about national policies that endorse...

Does anyone have the Dr. Browns glass bottles with sleeves? Do you struggle to get the sleeve on and off?

@pam76 No worries, thanks for getting back. I finally bought them 2 weeks ago. Have gone without sleeves and they are not broken yet but I don’t take them out of the house. You helped settle my concerns over mold. It only came with one sleeve and two bottles. I’m going to give it a try on one...

For the parents whose toddlers went through a car seat refusal phase, how did you support them through that?

@thestarside We solved this by having one parent in the backseat with baby. Other parent up front driving.

Does anyone have the Dr. Browns glass bottles with sleeves? Do you struggle to get the sleeve on and off?

@pam76 I’d like to give these a try and in the past, I’ve broken similar products when fully removing sleeves for cleaning. Just curious to know since you had it for a year, have you noticed any gunk or mold seem to be building up behind the sleeve? Have you checked?
