    @iprefertoremainanonymous Sorry, I meant school other than homeschool. I was exposed to a lot in school that probably wouldn’t have happened if I was homeschooled. Kids are exposed to a lot, a lot younger these days w social media and internet access and in a school setting it just spreads

    @leviishere Could’ve written this. I have a list of about 50 names rn and they’re my “top 50” but none of them feel like the one and my husband vetoes ALL OF THEM 😂 I’m so annoyed. Just commenting for solidarity lol

    @billthecableman YES. Expectations influence us so heavily in parenthood. I needed this reminder today Expect nothing or expect the worst + either way you will be more content than if you expect no meltdowns or expect them to sleep longer etc

    Am I the only one who doesn’t sign my girls up for dance classes/extra curricular activities?

    @anonymous9299 We’re not signed up for anything! Just nature play and play dates around here. Huge advocate for de-institutionalizing our kids. Imo activities in surplus set our kids up to continue the overworking cycle 🫢
