For those who have weaned before.

@vl32 I thought it had to do with weaning suddenly instead of gradually. Didn't it had something to do with a drastic change in hormones that makes you feel depressed? I weaned my daughter over several months and didn't feel depressed afterwards.

    Birth at 38 weeks?

@eddiesepics It's not a rule where I live. It's a possible risk and it's considered a very small risk. My doctor would never force a medical procedure. Instead they keep a dialogue with you and make sure you work together on a good outcome.

How do I set my wife up in a realistic way for our twins arrival in Jan…

@cinder7 I think I get your wife. I feel the same. I've had my singleton at 41+3 and she was 8 pounds. So now I'm set on (if there are no complications) carrying my twins as long as possible. I'm not keen on a planned C-section or induction. The longer the babies are in the womb, the better the...

    1 crib vs 2

@theophilac20 We got 2 cribs because eventually they'll need them. But for the first weeks we'll put them in the same crib. You can check the website of the NHS where safe co-bedding options are suggested.

    Birth at 38 weeks?

    @paulk6454 I don't know how tall they were, they don't measure anymore. I only know their weight, 8lbs 14oz and 7lbs 3oz. :)

    Birth at 38 weeks?

@ramallah I live in the Netherlands. It also wasn't my first pregnancy, my oldest was born at 41+3 weeks. That's actually considered normal.

    Birth at 38 weeks?

@nonku I'm from The Netherlands. Apparently most women don't carry twins that long here either. Most women do get induced, get a c-section or have a spontaneous labor before week 39. Or at least that's what my midwife told me.

    Birth at 38 weeks?

@quaheem I delivered at 40+3. I don't live in the US and induction or c-section aren't pushed as much here. While it was mentioned by my gynecologist that I would want to consider inducing or c-section at week 37/38, we also agreed that my pregnancy was without complications and the babies were...

5 months pregnant, just found out 3 car seats will not fit in my CUV. Can’t afford a bigger car. Freaking out

@the_journey Me too! It's not ideal though, would love to have a bigger car in the future. The smallest carseat is comfortable, but not for napping. We only do short rides now. But when we visit family it's an 3 hours drive and she would always sleep a few hours. In her former chair (we call...

5 months pregnant, just found out 3 car seats will not fit in my CUV. Can’t afford a bigger car. Freaking out

@summerlander Okay I didn't know that. It's not illegal in the Netherlands (where I'm from) as long as the airbag is turned off.

5 months pregnant, just found out 3 car seats will not fit in my CUV. Can’t afford a bigger car. Freaking out

@mwylcxca97 We have an Renault Clio (small car) and are able to fit 3 carseats. We have 2 maxi cosi's with Isofix and in the middle a carseat for a toddler in the seatbelt. I've been looking for the smallest carseat ever and found the maxi cosi nomad plus. Maybe that will fit in your car as...
