My wife don’t want to get kids any longer

@userischris Yeah. Not every breakup has to be a big, dramatic thing. There's a fundamental incompatibility here. If that can't be resolved, you have 3 choices. You can part amicably while you have the chance, each of you can have a shot at happiness with a new partner, have sort of friendly...

Losing it; 2 y/o awake for hours at a time. How to break the cycle?

@kyleswife2015 Every kid is different though. My niece was such an easy baby. My sister really thought she'd nailed it. Sleeps and naps were just never a problem. Thought she had hit on the perfect technique. Was even planning on writing a book on it. Then my nephew was born... the book never...

How do you not get hung up on what other babies are able to do?

My wife don’t want to get kids any longer

@lalpulamte Haha, just the 2, but it feels like 15 sometimes! Wife works shifts, and is studying for a degree, and has a 2nd job. So at times it can feel like I'm essentially a single parent. And neither of her jobs bring in much money, so I pay for the vast majority of things too. But that's...

Losing it; 2 y/o awake for hours at a time. How to break the cycle?

@noorsk That's how it went with our eldest. She still sleeps till after 7 now. But our youngest is the same age as yours. She's quite easy to get down by 730. But no matter how early or late you put her down, she's up at 5am. Every. Single. Day.

My wife don’t want to get kids any longer

@sally_a Yeah, that's just asking for trouble. Both people have to be completely behind it, of thier own free will, or disaster awaits. I love my kids, and I'd do anything for them. But fuck me they are hard work sometimes. The vast majority of my days are wake up at 530am, herd sheep trying to...

Should I leave my wife with a 2-mo old for a week?

@trustingin I'd say at a year it's possible, assuming there's family around to help. I've yet to spend a single night away from my kids, but wife went to Edinburgh Fringe for 2 weeks when the 1st was 1 (essentially work, but she isn't required to go, and spends more than she earns while there)...
