Tell me your stories of your 28-30 weekers

@lmac45 Wow, he did incredibly well for his size. That’s an amazing outcome at that weight. And you lasted 34 days with severe pre-e?!?! Fighters, both of you 💪💪💪 Amazing that things went better the second time. Apparently the risk of early pre-e happening again is 50/50 so I’m so glad you...

If you or your partner was hospitalized for pre-eclampsia prior to delivering your little one, tell me about your experience

@reallyconfused0512 Thanks for sharing all this detail. Did they do steroid shots on your initial admission, or wait until things escalated? Your experience with pulmonary edema sounds very frightening, I'm sorry you had to experience that. I appreciate you sharing it though as I didn't...

    New to the NICU

@jesusrocksjose777 Some advice from my experience, although with a 29 weeker I know it’s very different. be there as often as you can with your other care and work responsibilities. Do as much kangaroo care as you possibly can… Studies show that the more you do, the better your kid’s outcome is...

How often/long are you at the hospital?

@ninkies We are living here, BUT we are in a hospital where we have a suite attached to our son’s room. We have no pets or other children and are both off work. The hospital has laundry, kitchen, storage, lounge… it’s very family centred and they do everything they can to support as much...

If you or your partner was hospitalized for pre-eclampsia prior to delivering your little one, tell me about your experience

@helentina I can’t believe you got turned away so many times. That’s unconscionable. Also three hourlong NSTs? Wow. Where are you located? Such a different approach than my hospital. Did they give you steroids for baby’s lungs on admission or wait? Wow he was small. He is doing okay now?

@this_dot I hope the rest of your short is short! That must’ve be so nerve wracking to go into preterm labour the first time at 23 weeks. Wow, you’ve really been through it.
