Anyone else want to go back to 1992 when every single grade didn’t have a “graduation” ceremony?

@monkeym24 Kindergarten + 5th grade + 8th grade were actually not uncommon "graduations" even in the 90s! They weren't quite as widespread, but they definitely weren't unheard of. It does say something that most of us don't remember them though, so I don't think it's going to be traumatizing to...

canada lifelab hcg numbers confused? can any one help? any experiences?

@gentl4u You’re preaching to the choir here, there are many of us in our 30s and most of us will go on to have healthy, boring pregnancies. You literally have perfect beta numbers right now. I was in the 4000s at exactly 5 weeks and my doctor didn’t even want me to keep testing at that point...

canada lifelab hcg numbers confused? can any one help? any experiences?

@gentl4u Your doubling rate over 48 hours is 141% and then 109.2% which is perfect. 6050 for 5 weeks is well within normal range. HCG has an extremely wide range of normal. The key numbers are at least 50 around 14DPO and an increase of at least 60% over 48 hours, which then slows to doubling...

    Small Gestational Sac

@imaginedragons Hm, so the very earliest you could be is 8w6d with a first positive on 3/22. Not ideal to be over a week behind, but the growth and heart rate is good, so it’s really hard to say. I’m really hoping for better news at your next ultrasound.

    Small Gestational Sac

@imaginedragons Were you tracking ovulation or are you just going off LMP? When was the date of your first positive test? Just asking in case you ovulated much later than you thought. Whatever happens is not your fault, and you've done everything you can to make a safe place for this baby to...

Coworker refuses to use sick leave, even though I’m 5 weeks pregnant

@txstrocker I think we’re in agreement? Maybe I just worded it wrong, but there’s no specific “infertility” gene. Which is something people do believe and I think unnecessarily stresses us out that just because some family members have infertility automatically means you’ll experience it too. As...

Coworker refuses to use sick leave, even though I’m 5 weeks pregnant

@rapture2012 Just another data point: there’s no genetic cause for infertility. There can be underlying medical conditions that could potentially run in families (PCOS, endometriosis, etc.) which can sometimes impact fertility, but just because your mom/aunt/sister has issues conceiving is not a...
