Please don’t feed my baby from your plate

@csmartgla Curiosity got the better of me... There's a child specific one apparently that's for 15-30kg but it's sometimes prescribed to smaller kids if there's no other option.

@csmartgla Did they say what the weight limit is? Maybe OP has a huge baby like I do!

Please don’t feed my baby from your plate

@csmartgla AuviQ appears to only be available in north America, definitely not available in the UK anyway.

TIL It’s ok to have a drink or 2 and breastfeed! No need to pump and dump! 😊

@waynec Those things will also detect alcohol in orange juice so they are essentially total BS.

Please don’t feed my baby from your plate

@1shizueallen1 My kids don't even have allergies (that we know of anyway) and I would still lose my shit. Hell, I almost lost my shit because my Nan was trying to spoon-feed my toddler yesterday just because she's 2 and perfectly capable of feeding herself!

Prepare me for the family battle...!

@beverend To me anyone who would give you a hard time about it is probably not worth the hassle. Show them what you intend to use and if they don't like it that's a them problem. My nan was very anti cloth because why would you inconvenience yourself now you have other options! My mum used cloth...

TIL It’s ok to have a drink or 2 and breastfeed! No need to pump and dump! 😊

TIL It’s ok to have a drink or 2 and breastfeed! No need to pump and dump! 😊

@jerm_goduke You might need to pump for engorgement or maintaining supply though, that quote alone doesn't make it clear if she meant that or if she meant you need to remove the milk because she thinks it will still have alcohol in it regardless... If a mum was still concerned about alcohol in...

TIL It’s ok to have a drink or 2 and breastfeed! No need to pump and dump! 😊

@katrina2017 I'm surprised someone hasn't popped up to tell you that's absolutely impossible and spicy food makes no difference (even though in some babies it absolutely does, mine is one of them). Some babies have absolutely no issues with anything you eat and drink, nothing is universal and if...

I am team crib til college. Change my mind

@rinalamb Unfortunately it's not about swinging their legs over... They will push themselves up and just flip headfirst over the side. My eldest managed that before she could walk and well under that height. Some kids will never even try it but yeah, sleep sack or not, if they want to they will.
