@keveazy I had a twenty hour labor with over two hours of pushing with my first. My second was a three hour labor with twelve minutes of pushing. It was an awesome experience! Good luck to you!
@joegibson My son is five. This past week his lunches were pb&j with apple slices, whole wheat elbows with tomato sauce and broccoli, baby carrots with cheese and ham, and blueberry chia oatmeal and banana. We also went to Burger King one day.
@mvchante That's our cutoff too, and I redshirted my son because he was born on December 28. I just couldn't send him to kindergarten when he was just over 4 1/2. I wouldn't have held him out if he had a summer birthday or even September.
@striveforclarity I breastfed and hated pumping, so I always did the majority of wake ups. What I'd do to stay sane was nurse the baby to sleep around 7:00 pm, and sleep by myself in a different room from 7:30 - 11:30 while my husband stayed up and did what he could with rocking and a pacifier...
@olivemcr Eh, I was 19 and it was fine. I also have a late May birthday, so I only turned 19 a few weeks before graduating. I never had any problem getting along with my classmates.
@steadfastspirit I agree, I wouldn’t have taken the kid to either of those lessons in that condition anyway. It’s fine! The only real problem here is that OP is getting down on himself and catastrophizing normal mistakes.
