People who “diagnose” themselves with fertility issues before they even start trying

@manitouscott What I fail to understand is people who show-off or act all smug about getting pregnant first month. It's total coincidence you moron, you didn't do anything to earn it.

Feeling alone in not sleep training

@00sweetpea00 Thanks I haven't at all said I'm pro sleep training because I'm not, I haven't sleep trained either of mine.

Feeling alone in not sleep training

@magicfeather I just don't think we should judge other parents for the educated and informed decisions they make. I wouldn't judge someone for formula feeding their baby, because they are doing their best. I would judge for skipping vaccinations because that's just idiotic.

Feeling alone in not sleep training

@keithparagon No I don't judge other parents for doing their best, I just focus on my own parenting.

@s3anreilly Exactly. Infertility is something that people bizarrely romanticise. Imagine trying to do that with a different medical issue like cancer.... youd look like a nutter.

    Birth preferences (C-section or vaginal)

@chris516 My baby is 12 days old. I had a c section that was totally my choice (no medical reason) No regrets. Recovery has been easy.

    Birth preferences (C-section or vaginal)

@janine_h25 You can, I just had my elective c section 12 days ago. It was an absolute dream.

Those who had a C-section, what were you able to do for baby while recovering from surgery?

@blessedbythebest88 Changing the baby was easy- but I couldn't do it on the floor because I couldn't get back up again- I needed a changing table. I took care of the baby fine after my section. We often went on walks but I needed dad to sort out the pram.

Are any of y’all considering moving out of the country?

@katrina2017 I wouldn't go to the UK. Healthcare here is nonexistent and getting worst. The economic crisis is pushing us out of the list of first world countries.

X-posted from r/tfab, who already has names picked out?

@marineimaging I graduated onto trying a year ago and we have had no luck since. I am going through fertility treatment now and of course I'll take anything, but I am low key hoping for twins. I know it's more likely now.

X-posted from r/tfab, who already has names picked out?

Do most people wait until after they are pregnant,or have you already picked out names? I have a boys name sorted- Ash Eric For a girl I have lots of options- Elia, Evelyn, Emelyn, Eden, Briony or Amara. I am leaning toward Elia Amara.

Advice for juggling three year old and newborn

@seanieshamrocks Have you looked into any childcare for the 3 year old? She should be eligible soon for the 30 hours a week? I'm still sending my toddler to nursery after my newborn comes, I don't feel like her days would be enriching enough stuck at home with me and a baby.
