Toddler sleep: at my wits end

@sevenout03 I agree with both- I was so sure something must have been missed due to how often my then 12mo woke up. I did a week of very slow planned transition from cosleeping- I was shocked how much her wakes dropped. We're back cosleeping now lol cause I'm at work, but even now we get random...

How do you make it through the first year?

@albinoguitman He doesn't say that so maybe I'm making it up, I think he just feels the solution is obvious. Yes thank you, we do cosleep which helps me get through each night!

How do you make it through the first year?

@shanaynay I don't know and I feel the exact same with a 9mo My partner is very pro CIO but does not pressure me. I feel so desperate sometimes I wonder if he's right, but I know he's not I'm just freaking exhausted. He doesn't say it, but I feel sometimes he thinks I deserve to be tired because...

    Struggling with ST culture

@riseup Aussie first time mum here too! I couldn't believe how much it was encouraged and still considered so normal. Especially since my baby woke hourly for a long time, I coslept from week 2 by choice. Not one person suggested ruling out any physical causes, they all went straight to sleep...

Wondering if I’m going to regret our sleep habits in the future

@zach0024 I did pretty much exactly the same. Floor bed was incredibly helpful. She's only STTN about 3 times , but sleeps in large blocks now. Unfortunately though, I just got her sleep sorted she was developmentally ready at 12mo and then BAM , my return to work and daycare illnesses screwed...

10m acting different. Is this normal?

@benjohnson1966 Hey my 10mo does all those things! She's always been a very...expressive baby so it didn't seem too different from what her younger years behaviour was like haha. A week ago she learned how to stiffen her body so I can't just sit her down, unless she's in the mood of course then...

Choice of 3 days high stress/responsibility and pay, or 5 days of average pay with school holidays? X post r/workingmums

Hi all from Australia, I've returned to work after a year on mat leave.... best year (after the first 3 hellish months lol). I don't like being at work, don't want to but life and money demands it. I am currently full time at my very high stress job but not coping with the 5 days of full on...
