I’d be toying with nap schedules and trying some CIO periods and taking turns with my spouse so I get a full sleep every second night.
Our son was a nightmare sleeper though so I’m not even sure if anything we did helped or if he just naturally got better
@jackstack Yep. Totally normal in my family. We did a week at grandparents around 1.5.
It was glorious and I’d say the 5 days was about the right amount of time for missing them to set in while also feeling totally recharged to do the less enjoyable parenting tasks with a better demeanour...
@sf111 This would probably benefit me more than my kids. The ol lady and I seem to most nights just lay on the couch and watch tv / play on phones from 8-9:30 then go to sleep.

@wanderingbeliever My dad is perfectly suited for you g kids… goes to bed around 8:30 wakes up just before 5. It’s like he’s already on a pesky 2 year olds sleep schedule… :p
@anonymousbl I’d say even if they don’t do a sleep over where you stay over too or have grandparents over to do bed time to start getting your kid used to it.
@missyoung I have some friends with kids who are older and and play video games and they seem like nice enough kids but seems like a lot of them say some terrible shit while online gaming… kids are always the worst in lobby!
