What kind of car do you drive?

@olaitan I had the opportunity to try the Jeep Wagoneer with my brother and I liked the feel of it - we didn't use the third row on the trip but there would have still be plenty of truck space with it up.

    Let's talk about daycare quality!

@vijay330pr We’ve had good luck at Montessori school, but I agree it’s complete luck. We lucked into a spot in the toddler house for our almost two year old right when he turned 15 months as they were slowly expanding and had just opened a new toddler room. But it’s expensive (almost $500 a week...

    3.5yo, 2yo and NB? Am I crazy?

@angeliabell We have 6, 5 and turning 3 (oldest are ten months apart) it’s been a crazy whirlwind of a journey and I don’t remember all of their infant hoods, but I wouldn’t do it any other way. It’s getting easier now that they’re all older and 3 is almost potty trained.

Do you all accommodate any kids activity/sport you can? Or do you draw a line even if you COULD make it happen?

@kdr95 Agreed with balance. My brother did basketball/football and maybe track and field in high school and enjoyed them all but his senior year of sports got ruined by COVID. He plays rugby as a club sport in college now and loves it, but I think bc his HS sports were mostly of his choosing...

What is it like going from 1-2 or 2-3 kids with 2 full time working parents?

@sifiso Thank you! We had a smaller flock last year so it was a lot less work. My husband added about 8 ducks and the geese this spring so I think we have 12 ducks total now (duck math is real).

What is it like going from 1-2 or 2-3 kids with 2 full time working parents?

@infomommax I didn’t notice a huge difference going from 1-2 and then 2-3 but our first two are Irish twins, so that’s probably why (we just only had one for such a short period, and she was a nicu baby so it was actually only 9ish months between her coming home and delivering my second). We...

Seeking advice about having 3 kids in daycare!

@aaronq10 It is. I had three under six and about a year where one was in pre-k at a catholic school and my younger two were at Montessori school. The worst part was drop off at catholic school was 720 and not until 8 for Montessori

    Daycare questions- what’s normal?

@f4leggin 3 happened to us if they were in another room or on the playground - they seemed to grab whatever was available. My kids don’t have sensitive skin so I’d just check in they weren’t out of diapers for us. It was a frequent occurrence.

Daycare operating on a “first-come-first-served” basis?

@lostsoul_ We went through four directors in three years at my last daycare. The first one was adequate the second was great. The third was only “acting” and probably would have been great given a chance but they brought in someone else who was terrible. Chased off five teachers in the three...

Age gap between #2 and #3?

@jojoz My first two are ten months apart and my youngest is just shy of 2.5 years younger than them. They are 5,4,2 currently. It’s a lot. I would have had 3 under 3 but miscarried and believe someone had a plan for me. I’m finally seeing the end of diapers on the horizon.

    Crazy mornings

@megan120711 Seconding door chimes. We also put a baby gate up, mostly to contain our two year old. Our four year old can take it down if he needs to get out (bathroom or other reasons) but is pretty good about leaving it up.
