He changed his mind and I cried myself to sleep just to wake up more upset

@charlyrich It doesn’t sound at all like you are mad at him for having an idea (hey maybe let’s try?) and changing his mind. But being upset and hurt that he didn’t consider how his statements would impact you is a pretty reasonable thing to be mad about in my opinion. Hurt -> anger is preeetty...

    Tipping Daycare Teachers

@buithanhhang I don't think it's expected or mandatory, especially not if you are struggling. A heartfelt card with a note of appreciation can mean a lot to someone who does an exhausting and thankless job. In particular if you have something specific about the teacher (my son loves reading...

    Baby rash/eczema

@jack_sdb For us it was absolutely a symptom of food allergies. Egg and milk were his big ones

Baby flipped to transverse at 39 weeks and now OB wants to schedule c-section without trying ECV

@rylt That is incredibly tragic and horrible. The placenta is an organ with an expiration date!! Fidiots have no sense and no cares about the consequences of the rubbish they push on people

    COVID-19 and Why I'm Waiting

@ajay24 Thank you so much for this. I'm waiting and HATING IT. It is getting harder to quiet my mind about it, and to let go of obsessive feelings at certain times in my cycle. I really appreciate having more data to support our very valid reasons of waiting. It's scary and awful but somehow...

Has anyone been a SAHM during the day while husband is at work and then gone to work in the evenings? How did it work out for you?

@middi1 This is a very good point. OP should also consider the emotional and psychological toll it can take, especially postpartum to hear your tiny newborn cry and to not be the one to fix it immediately. For me it was a fully instinctual, hormonal, lizard brain level reaction.

    Recliner nursing chair help

@prettyicke Mom here, I hate our chair and haven’t found a better option for #2 Mine is a rocking recliner (a fine choice. Definitely want to rock or glide, and we’ve slept in the chair, without baby, plenty of times) the big issue the footrest is the type to pop out with a pull-latch but you...

"Cry it out" is not a well-defined term

@mikalmo UGH the FOMO and the sleep sabotage. My LO will be drifting off and a millisecond from fully out, and then yank the paci out of his mouth and start screaming again. Lather, rinse, repeat. Sometimes we can cheat the system by putting a paci in his mouth and one in each hand lol FOMO...

    COVID-19 and Why I'm Waiting

@ajay24 I'm so sorry for your loss, and for the extra stress you had to deal with during such a difficult time. Really hoping things go smoothly once you are ready to try again!
