@deafmommy that's cuz the vaccines were barely effective for under 5 at preventing sickness or spread. But they were very effective in preventing hospitalizations and severe illness of the few vulnerable children who would have otherwise been very sick. so in context that's very low risk...

@beorh yup yup!! I'm in Ohio. I called 3 pharmacy chains and 3 hospital systems. One has fair availability this week! and the rest are a no.

@orthodoxjay1 keep calling every week and wait for things to shake out. everyone is trying to get up to speed with the latest legislation and people who are working on it obviously know about your problem if everyone's giving you really concrete answers. there will be more options soon hopefully.
